Hello, I am Indie! I am a Lithuanian girl who loves discovering new things and falling into adventures.
I used to study Media Philosophy in Kaunas, Lithuania but quit in order to experience world's wanders.
Living in different communities and countries, hitch-hiking, squatting, wwoofing, volunteering has taught me a lot about the world and myself. I appreciate every moment of my life as a blessing and I wish to continue my journey towards wisdom, knowledge and fellowship. At the moment I study in Denmark in DNS Teacher Training College, eager to become an inspiring teacher.
My mission with this website is to write personal experiences about living/wwoofing in different communes/eco-villages/organic farms, adventurers, related to the study program, being an expat in Denmark and of course - travelling.
Hi I’m Charlie; I’m a happy-go-lucky hippy type who loves learning new things and building. Also I’m heavily into ancient wisdom and occult knowledge. I grew up as a punk rocker on the sleepy Isle of Wight off the coast of England. After travelling to USA at 21 I gave up everything and moved to London in October 2011 to join the Occupy movement and lived in a tent outside St. Paul’s cathedral. After 9 long months, on the front line of one of the biggest global movements in history, a group of us took up squatting in central London. We started out as a group of bandits taking large buildings to house the homeless and those that had nowhere to go. But some time passed and I started thinking about the bigger picture which includes community and the answer to how it would be best to live. So with my new ideals, I moved to live with my closest friend Luca, to a Runnymede eco village, Surrey, where we have built our first little home and learnt to live in nature. It was there that my fascination with the occult science took shape, and I learned the major points of elemental balance and the Tarot. After a few months Indie came to Runnymede and a weekend away spent in Avebury, a truly magical place, showed me that she was the one. That’s how another chapter started.
My hope with this website is to document the skills, building techniques and alternative/ bio construction projects that we come across so that others can use the information in their search for a sustainable existence.

Our little family business is called Happy Magpies and we've basically created it in order to sustain ourselves on the road. We offer different varieties of coffee and tea and also produce our own made goods while traveling. We are learning every day and we can't wait to try weaving baskets or carving spoons, making cordial or sustainable clothes but at the moment our stock is limited as we've just established. It contains earrings, soaps, some cute accessories, notebooks and a few vintage dresses. We have a wide collection of books on various topics in our library. Main themes are education, gardening, nutrition, history, religious studies, theosophy and western mystery tradition. Nearly all of the books are in English, a few are in Lithuanian language. We are based in UK/Denmark. Can provide such workshops: badges, notebooks or soap making.
